主講人簡(jiǎn)介：
陳毅恒，資深統(tǒng)計(jì)學(xué)者，擔(dān)任香港中文大學(xué)、香港科技大學(xué)、美國(guó)卡耐基梅隆大學(xué)(Carnegie Mellon University)教授，美國(guó)印第安納大學(xué) (Indiana University-Bloomington)助理教授。一直從事數(shù)理統(tǒng)計(jì)學(xué)的研究，具體研究方向?yàn)闀r(shí)間序列、網(wǎng)絡(luò)結(jié)構(gòu)和金融計(jì)量。1991年當(dāng)選國(guó)際統(tǒng)計(jì)學(xué)會(huì)（ISI）會(huì)員，其后分別當(dāng)選國(guó)際數(shù)理學(xué)會(huì)會(huì)士IMS Fellow（2001）和美國(guó)統(tǒng)計(jì)學(xué)會(huì)會(huì)士ASA Fellow（2006），2009年榮獲香港統(tǒng)計(jì)學(xué)會(huì)頒授終身榮譽(yù)會(huì)員，2013年獲選教育部頒授長(zhǎng)江學(xué)者特聘教授（2013-2016）。在統(tǒng)計(jì)學(xué)領(lǐng)域的國(guó)際頂尖期刊上發(fā)表論文數(shù)十篇。先后于知名統(tǒng)計(jì)期刊Journal of the American Statistical Association、Journal of Business and Economic Statistics、Statistica Sinica、Bernoulli、Econometric Theory、Electronic Journal of Statistics擔(dān)任編委，現(xiàn)為Journal of Time Series Analysis、Journal of Forecasting 、International Journal of Theoretical and Applied Finance 主編。
內(nèi)容提要：
This talk will review some of the statistical techniques used in the analysis and detection of one of the most commonly encountered eye diseases, Glaucoma. By means of some of the recent artificial intelligence algorithms, ophthalmologists are employing modern machine learning technologies such as CNN and its variates to assist in early detection of eye symptoms in Glaucoma studies. This talk will address some of the related issues and discuss the potential of statistical ideas in these studies. Some examples will be given.
這次講座將回顧一些用于分析和檢測(cè)最常見(jiàn)眼部疾病之一——青光眼的統(tǒng)計(jì)技術(shù)。通過(guò)一些最新的人工智能算法，眼科醫(yī)生正在采用現(xiàn)代機(jī)器學(xué)習(xí)技術(shù)，如卷積神經(jīng)網(wǎng)絡(luò)（CNN）及其變體，來(lái)幫助早期檢測(cè)青光眼研究中的眼部癥狀。這次講座將討論相關(guān)問(wèn)題，并探討統(tǒng)計(jì)方法在這些研究中的潛力，還會(huì)給出一些例子。
