冷鐵成，哈爾濱工業(yè)大學(xué)管理學(xué)院金融系教授、博士生導(dǎo)師。研究領(lǐng)域?yàn)楣窘鹑?、?chuàng)業(yè)創(chuàng)新、政治金融。研究成果發(fā)表在Review of Financial Studies、Management Science、《金融研究》等學(xué)術(shù)期刊。目前，他擔(dān)任牛津大學(xué)《中國(guó)經(jīng)濟(jì)與商業(yè)研究期刊》（Journal of Chinese Economic and Business Studies，JCEBS）副主編。
內(nèi)容簡(jiǎn)介：
This paper investigates the impact of firm-level labor supply shocks driven by the gig economy on corporate investment, leveraging the staggered expansion of the leading online delivery platform, Ele.me, into 245 major cities in China between 2010 and 2015. The findings reveal that firm investment declines as a result of reduced employment and rising wages following the platform’s geographic expansion. These effects are more pronounced for labor-intensive or less innovative firms, as well as in regions with significant labor shortages and higher mobile phone penetration. By analyzing extensive data on job postings across China, we further find a negative correlation between the availability of local gig work opportunities and corporate investment. Finally, firms respond to the labor shortages induced by the platform’s expansion by increasing investment in labor-saving automation technologies.
本文利用領(lǐng)先的在線(xiàn)配送平臺(tái)餓了么在2010年至2015年間向中國(guó)245個(gè)主要城市的交錯(cuò)擴(kuò)張，研究了零工經(jīng)濟(jì)驅(qū)動(dòng)的企業(yè)層面勞動(dòng)力供應(yīng)沖擊對(duì)企業(yè)投資的影響。調(diào)查結(jié)果顯示，由于平臺(tái)的地理擴(kuò)張導(dǎo)致就業(yè)減少和工資上漲，公司投資下降。這些影響對(duì)于勞動(dòng)密集型或創(chuàng)新性較低的公司，以及勞動(dòng)力嚴(yán)重短缺和手機(jī)普及率較高的地區(qū)更為明顯。通過(guò)分析中國(guó)各地招聘信息的大量數(shù)據(jù)，我們進(jìn)一步發(fā)現(xiàn)當(dāng)?shù)亓愎C(jī)會(huì)的可用性與企業(yè)投資之間存在負(fù)相關(guān)關(guān)系。最后，企業(yè)通過(guò)增加對(duì)節(jié)省勞動(dòng)力的自動(dòng)化技術(shù)的投資來(lái)應(yīng)對(duì)平臺(tái)擴(kuò)張?jiān)斐傻膭趧?dòng)力短缺。
