主講人簡(jiǎn)介：
吳樹(shù)林，1984年10月出生于河南省固始縣，2010年5月博士畢業(yè)于華中科技大學(xué)數(shù)學(xué)系，研究方向?yàn)榘l(fā)展方程快速算法設(shè)計(jì)、分析與應(yīng)用，現(xiàn)為東北師范大學(xué)教授、博士研究生導(dǎo)師。以第一（或通訊）作者身份在計(jì)算數(shù)學(xué)領(lǐng)域重要期刊發(fā)表學(xué)術(shù)論文近50篇，包括《SIAM》系列（15篇)，以及《Numer Math》、《JCP》、《IMA數(shù)值分析》等，應(yīng)邀為計(jì)算數(shù)學(xué)著名刊物《Acta Numerica》撰寫(xiě)Parallel-in-Time研究方向綜述性論文（合作者：日內(nèi)瓦大學(xué)Martin Gander教授、中科院周濤研究員)。主持國(guó)家自然科學(xué)基金面上項(xiàng)目（2項(xiàng))、中國(guó)博士后基金-特別資助等課題，參與國(guó)家自然科學(xué)基金重大項(xiàng)目一項(xiàng)，先后入選中國(guó)科協(xié)青年人才托舉工程、吉林省青年拔尖人才以及國(guó)家萬(wàn)人計(jì)劃青年拔尖人才。
內(nèi)容提要：
Parareal is a popular parallel-in-time algorithms proposed by Maday et al. in 2001. In this talk, I will introduce the basic idea, the and the mathematical formula of this algorithm. Parareal is iterative and it is difficult to make a sharp convergence analysis. I will introduce the history of the convergence analysis and the milestone result by Martin Gander and Stefan Vandewalle obtained in 2007. Then, I introduce the research towards the study of the universal constant of the convergence factor. Finally, I will introduce the novel idea that makes the coarse grid correction parallel (the coarse grid correction is the speedup bottleneck of the parareal algorithm). Parareal是一種由Maday等人在2001年提出的流行的時(shí)間并行算法。在這次演講中，我將介紹這個(gè)算法的基本思想、歷史和數(shù)學(xué)公式。Parareal是迭代的，很難進(jìn)行精確的收斂性分析。我將介紹收斂性分析的歷史和Martin Gander與Stefan Vandewalle在2007年獲得的里程碑式成果。然后，我將介紹關(guān)于收斂因子普適常數(shù)研究的最新進(jìn)展。最后，我將介紹一種使粗網(wǎng)格校正并行化的新穎思想（粗網(wǎng)格校正是parareal算法加速的瓶頸）。
