林楠教授1999年畢業(yè)于中國(guó)科學(xué)技術(shù)大學(xué)少年班系,2003年在美國(guó)伊利諾伊大學(xué)獲得統(tǒng)計(jì)學(xué)專(zhuān)業(yè)博士學(xué)位,2003-2004年在耶魯大學(xué)做博士后,2004年至今在圣路易斯華盛頓大學(xué)任教。現(xiàn)為統(tǒng)計(jì)與數(shù)據(jù)科學(xué)系教授。主要從事大數(shù)據(jù)統(tǒng)計(jì)計(jì)算、分位數(shù)回歸,生物信息學(xué)以及相關(guān)應(yīng)用領(lǐng)域的研究工作。先后在Biometrika,Biometrics,JCGS,TKDE,New England Journal of Medicine,Genome Research等國(guó)際期刊發(fā)表70余篇高水平學(xué)術(shù)論文。曾擔(dān)任《Computational Statistics & Data Analysis》國(guó)際期刊副主編,現(xiàn)任《Journal of Computational and Graphical Statistics》國(guó)際期刊副主編。

In recent years, substantial research effort has been devoted to developing methodology for high dimensional mediation analysis to identify variables from a high-dimensional set to explain the causal mechanism. Traditional screening approaches are often applied, while the linear structural equation model structure of the mediation problem is not well accounted for. We propose a new marginal screening procedure, termed Marginal Sobel Screening (MSS), for high dimensional mediation analysis that takes into account the mediation model structure. We establish sample level properties and population properties to ensure the sure screening property for MSS. MSS is shown via simulation to perform better than benchmark approaches and is applied to the Coronary Artery Risk Development inYoung Adults (CARDIA) Study to examine the mediation effect of ultra-high dimensional DNA methylation markers.
近年來(lái),大量的研究工作致力于發(fā)展高維中介分析方法,以從高維集合中識(shí)別變量來(lái)解釋因果機(jī)制。傳統(tǒng)的篩選方法往往被采用,而線(xiàn)性結(jié)構(gòu)方程模型結(jié)構(gòu)的中介問(wèn)題沒(méi)有得到很好的解釋。主講人提出了一種新的邊際篩選程序,稱(chēng)為邊際索貝爾篩選(MSS),用于考慮中介模型結(jié)構(gòu)的高維中介分析。建立了樣本級(jí)屬性和總體屬性,保證了MSS的可靠篩選性能。通過(guò)模擬顯示MSS比基準(zhǔn)方法表現(xiàn)更好,并應(yīng)用于年輕人冠狀動(dòng)脈風(fēng)險(xiǎn)發(fā)展(CARDIA)研究,以檢查超高維DNA甲基化標(biāo)記物的中介作用。
